Growing Partnerships with State Agencies
A growing relationship between FoundationCCC and the California Department of Social Services has helped the two entities address regional equity issues for families and communities through programs including the Youth Empowerment Strategies for Success--Independent Living Program (YESS-ILP), Fresh Success Program, and Immigration Legal Services Project, which provides free legal aid for undocumented students. Most recently, FoundationCCC leveraged its statewide reach and investments in remote call center services and financial systems infrastructure to help the agency effectively distribute over $700M in pandemic emergency aid to Californians.
